Unbleached cotton - better UV protection

Did you know that unbleached cotton provides better UV protection? Unbleached cotton contain special pigments called lignins that act as UV absorbers says Skin Cancer Foundation.
We have gourgeous range of unisex unbleached organic cotton tees.
Natural colour looks very nice next to skin and the feel is very soft and comfy. I am wearing mine in origami design all the times :)

Manly Dogs Day Out

Petico stall at Clontafr Reserve

We had a great day yesterday at Manly. The weather forecast wasn't very promising - but we were lucky to get nice weather with just a bit of rain for a last half an hour. We enjoyed meeting great variety of dogs - such a nice crowd! Thank you everyone for coming!

Busy crowd

And it was nice to hear compliments to our products - especially bungees and rope toys

SnapUp was a hit (we're surprised!) within the younger generation - well, kids are aware that the joy of owning the puppy coming together with responsibilities and some unpleasant tasks such as picking up the dogs poo. It was really nice to see that kids are growing into responsible dog owners, not without a help of our stylish SnapUp!

We spotted the winner of "best dog and owner alike" competition before the became famous - have a look, aren't they gorgeous?

Celeste is looking for a new home

This is Celeste.  She is a lovely Pomeranian X Tibetan Spaniel who is currently being looked after by "Paws" www.paws.com.au , our local dog rescue. She is looking for a new home - does anyone know someone who can help?

She is 8 years young, desexed and on heartworm preventative. She recently had dental work completed and has all the necessary jabs, chips and rego to "walk in and cuddle away" for $400. She does, however, have some eye problems. She was recently seen by an eye specialist who pronounced her blind in one eye with the other eye also affected to some degree. At this point drops are the best medicine but she will need ongoing attention for this.

Celeste is described as "DIVINE" by her foster carer.  She has a sweet nature and is very affectionate - her favourite position is on her back across your lap, eyes closed in bliss!  She loves being close to you and will follow you round the house and garden as you do your chores. Celeste has a magnificent fox coloured coat that will need regular brushing and professional grooming occasionally.  She is housetrained and loves other dogs, male and female.  She doesn't seem to have been walked on a lead very much but enjoys a 20 min walk round the block.  She's got plenty of energy for play with the other dogs but won't bother you if it is raining and you can't go out for a walk.  Celeste came from a home with another dog and would probably not cope as an only dog

Please email denise@paws.com.au for more information or if you can offer her a loving home.

SnapUp winners / Petalia

We've been overwhelmed with the amount of creative entries to SnapUp giveaway competition on Petalia website and want to congratulate the winners! And share with you winning entries:

1. Ms Angie Yuen - NSW
"StreetDog" scoop is what we need.
To pick up Poodles's number two with grace & speed.
His favourite place to go always happen to be outside a crowded cafe!

 2. Mrs Cheryl McKibbin - SA
When walking pooch down the street,
I dont want surprises upon my feet,
Handy to carry this pick up scoop,
Will help dispose of unwanted poop!

 3. Miss Coral Moody - QLD
In a snap I could have Bev's poop scooped up and gone so we can go play some more and no one is gonna slide on through...it ;-)

 4. Miss Jackie Bayley - WA
Being near poo makes me feel sick,
Having this would make the job quick.
Love our dog, she's our best friend,
Just don't like smelling what comes out her backend!

 5. Mrs Jackie Neilson - QLD
To win a SnapUp Stowaway Pick-Up Scoop, it would make an unpleasant task alot quicker and give me more time to spend with my cute dog Milo at the park.

 6. Ms Jan Cullen - NSW
I do not enjoy looking after this end of the dog - so anything to take away that awful feeling of picking up warm dog poo would be a godsend.

 7. Mrs Kelly Ryan - QLD
Cleaning up after doggie isn't the most glamorous task. A Streetdog scoop would make it much more easier for a squeamish person like me!

 8. Mrs Kim Parsons - QLD
My 2 dogs, I love them to bits.
However, the amount of their poop, is hard to miss
So I’m scooping every day
Surely there must be an easier way?

 9. Mrs Marilyn Allan - NSW
On our walks we pick up Dana's droppings as well as other dogs' droppings to keep our park clean - this gadget would be very handy.

 10. Mrs Meagan Wishart - SA
New to the dog owning game,
Puppy classes and long walks.
I'll promote Stowaway scoop benefits,
To dog network friends when we talk!

 11. Miss Rey Taafe - VIC
My doggy needs to poop
It's normal, so I cannot complain
If I could use a Stow-away pick-up scoop
...this icky job would be less of a pain!

 12. Miss Sacha Pech - SA
Trying to get our teenage son to earn pocket money; this would go a long way convincing him to start looking after HIS dog!

 13. Miss Suzie Morrell - VIC
I like to do the right thing and clean up but I can't stand the warm feeling through the bag...... I NEED one!

 14. Mr Trevor Scotney - NSW
Walking to the park can be a drag, especially carry a smelly bag.
Using Stowaway to scoop the poop, park time would be fun while our dog jumps through hoops!

 15. Ms Vanessa Haley - VIC
When I walk my Great Dane "Chewy", I carry multiple bags, gloves and hand sanitiser. The StreetDog SnapUp Stowaway Pick-Up Scoops would make walking her a more pleasant experience.

Thank you and enjoy your walks, with SnapUp and smile :)
